Key Responsibilities
● Technical Support:
○ Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
○ Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person.
○ Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
● Network Administration:
○ Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers,
switches, and firewalls.
○ Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
○ Implement security measures to protect the network from threats.
● Data Management:
○ Backup and restore data to ensure data integrity and recovery.
○ Manage data storage systems and databases.
○ Implement data security policies and procedures.
● System Administration:
○ Manage server operating systems and applications.
○ Patch and update systems to maintain security and performance.
○ Automate routine system tasks using scripting languages.
● Project Management:
○ Participate in IT projects, providing technical expertise and support.
○ Assist in the planning, implementation, and testing of new IT systems.
